Gîte

This is an 18th century farm house constructed from local granite. It was built in 1789 during the French revolution (the year of the storming of the Bastille).

The Gîte has 3 bedrooms, two doubles and a twin and will comfortably sleep up to 6 adults. But check out loft suite for the option of extra luxury and sleeping 8+. There is one bathroom with shower (two if you take the loft suite option ). Downstairs is a large open area that serves as kitchen, dining area and sitting area. There is a log burning stove but in addition all rooms can be heated with electric radiators. The house is fully equipped for modern living. Children and babies are welcome but we have no cot for babies and suggest you bring your own travel cot. Well behaved dogs are welcome at a small extra charge.

Outside there are two private patio areas and a large garden. During the day the garden provides plenty of sunny spots for relaxing and dining in. Clean mountain air and the absence of light pollution creates the perfect conditions for starry night skies.

Access is via a quiet unmade track. This is drivable with an ordinary two wheel drive car in all but the worst weathers and there is space for parking next to the house. Alternative parking is available at the top of the track.
